A single-storey house collapsed following an LPG cylinder blast in north Delhi's Mukundpur area on Tuesday morning, leaving several residents feared trapped under the debris, according to an official from the Delhi Fire Service.
The incident occurred at Gali No. 1, Part-2, Ishu Vihar, near the cremation ground. A caller alerted authorities about the blast at 9:37 am, reporting that residents might be trapped.
"We received information that a blast took place and a building collapsed, potentially trapping some people. Rescue teams were immediately dispatched to the site and launched operations," the officer stated.
Five rescue vehicles were rushed to the scene to assist in the search and rescue efforts. Emergency personnel are working diligently to locate any individuals who may be trapped beneath the rubble.
