India Issues Stern Warning to Pakistan Over Op Sindoor
In a significant development, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has issued a strong warning to Pakistan, stating that any "misadventure" from the neighbouring country in the current situation would result in "unprecedented and decisive" action from India. This statement comes just a day after Navy chief Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi disclosed critical details about Operation Sindoor, revealing that India was on the verge of striking Pakistan from the sea during the operation.
Rajnath Singh's Firm Stance at Kerala Event
Speaking at a Sainik Samman Sammelan in Kerala on Thursday, Rajnath Singh emphasized India's resolve. He highlighted that following the April 2025 Pahalgam attack, India successfully destroyed terrorist hideouts and infrastructure in Pakistan through Op Sindoor, bringing the hostile neighbour to its knees in a mere 22 minutes. "I would like to tell you the operation is not over yet," Singh declared. "If such dirty actions are repeated by Pakistan, our armed forces will give a befitting reply which they will never forget."
Admiral Tripathi's Revelations on Naval Readiness
On Wednesday, during a naval investiture ceremony in Mumbai, Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi provided insights into the Indian Navy's role in Op Sindoor. He stated, "Op Sindoor demonstrated exemplary readiness and resolve of the Indian Navy, as our units undertook swift deployment and maintained a highly aggressive posture throughout the period." Importantly, he added, "It is not a hidden fact anymore that we were just minutes away from striking Pakistan from sea when they requested a stoppage of kinetic actions." This revelation underscores the intense military preparedness and the narrow avoidance of a full-scale maritime conflict.
Government's Strengthened National Security Posture
Rajnath Singh attributed these robust actions to the strengthened national security framework under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership. He noted a significant shift in the government's attitude and mode of action. "Be it the surgical strikes after the Uri terror attack, air strikes in response to the killing of Indian security personnel in Pulwama, or Operation Sindoor, we have struck a strong blow to terrorism," the Defence Minister asserted. This statement reinforces the government's commitment to a proactive and assertive defence strategy against cross-border threats.
The combined statements from Rajnath Singh and Admiral Tripathi highlight India's unwavering stance on national security and its readiness to respond decisively to any provocations from Pakistan. The details of Op Sindoor, including the near-strike scenario, serve as a clear message of India's military capabilities and determination to safeguard its interests.
