Indian Army's Amogh Jwala Exercise Concludes, Showcasing Advanced Warfare Integration
The Indian Army's technology-driven integrated training exercise, Amogh Jwala, successfully concluded on Wednesday at the Babina Field Firing Ranges in Jhansi. This comprehensive drill, which commenced on March 6, was meticulously designed to validate the Army's preparedness for mechanised warfare within a complex multi-domain operational environment.
Synergy of Advanced Systems and Platforms
The exercise prominently showcased the seamless synergy between cutting-edge weapon systems, aerial platforms, and networked communication technologies. A key highlight was the integration of mechanised forces with attack helicopters, massed unmanned aerial systems (UAS), and network-enabled battlefield platforms, all operating under a secure and robust command-and-control framework.
Enhanced battlefield transparency and decision-making were achieved through the deployment of advanced surveillance systems, precision firepower, and real-time communication networks. These elements were crucial in simulating and managing complex combat scenarios, demonstrating the Army's capability to dominate the modern battlespace.
Leadership Commendation and Strategic Focus
Lieutenant General Dhiraj Seth, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Southern Command, attended as the chief guest on the concluding day. He commended the participating units for their high standards of professionalism and operational readiness, reinforcing the Army's commitment to technological modernisation and multi-domain integration.
General Seth emphasised that the absorption of technology, jointness, and the seamless integration of capabilities across land, air, cyber, space, intelligence surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR), and electronic warfare (EW) are fundamental. These efforts are aimed at building an agile, adaptable, and combat-ready force capable of excelling across the full spectrum of multi-domain operations.
