A tragic incident occurred in Indore on Tuesday morning when a four-month-old boy died after accidentally falling from the lap of his six-year-old cousin. The event took place around 9:30 am at the family's residence in the Bhil Colony area of Azad Nagar.

The infant's parents were occupied with household chores at the time. According to family members, the cousin was holding the baby while sitting on a bed approximately three feet high. During their interaction, the baby slipped from her grasp and fell face-first onto the floor. The girl immediately alerted the family. The mother was in the washroom, and the grandmother was busy with domestic work when the accident happened.
Response and Medical Attention
The family rushed the infant to Maharaja Yashwantrao Hospital, where doctors declared him dead on arrival. Medical staff noted that the infant's breathing had likely ceased shortly after the impact. Following the tragedy, the family requested that no postmortem examination be conducted.
Family Background
The infant was the younger of two siblings, with a four-year-old elder brother. His father works for a private company. The Azad Nagar police were informed about the accidental death, and preliminary statements from the family were recorded.
