A tragic road accident occurred in Kanpur's Shastri Nagar area on Monday morning, claiming the life of a 35-year-old sales manager. Prashant Tiwari, a resident of Masawanpur, was on his way to his office in Fazalganj when the incident took place under the Kakadeo police station jurisdiction.
Accident Details
According to police reports, Tiwari applied the front brake hard to avoid a scooty rider who suddenly appeared in front of him near Neercheir Chauraha. The sudden braking caused his bike to skid and overturn on the road. During the fall, the strap of his helmet came loose, and the helmet flew off, leaving his head unprotected. He sustained severe head injuries upon striking the road.
Medical Response and Demise
Fellow employees who witnessed the accident rushed Tiwari to Lala Lajpat Rai Hospital. However, the doctors on duty declared him dead upon arrival due to the severity of his injuries. The body has been sent for post-mortem examination as per standard procedure.
Victim's Background
Prashant Tiwari was employed as a sales manager at a private finance company. He is survived by his wife Shalu, two daughters named Sanvi and Samridhi, and his younger brother Deepu. The family is in deep shock following the sudden loss.

Kakadeo Inspector Dharmendra Kumar Ram confirmed the incident and stated that an investigation is underway. The police are looking into the circumstances of the accident and have recorded statements from witnesses. No case has been registered yet, but further action will be taken based on the post-mortem report.
