Speaking to the media, Raja acknowledged that the Left has faced significant setbacks in recent elections, losing ground in traditional strongholds. He attributed this decline to a combination of factors, including the rise of right-wing politics, changing voter demographics, and internal organizational weaknesses. Despite the grim scenario, Raja expressed hope for a revival. Raja called for greater unity among Left parties to consolidate their electoral base. He noted that internal divisions have often weakened their collective impact. The CPI leader urged all like-minded parties to come together on a common platform to challenge the ruling establishment effectively.

The CPI leader outlined a roadmap for revival, which includes intensive cadre training, increased use of digital media, and active participation in social movements. He also highlighted the need to address contemporary issues such as unemployment, inflation, and environmental degradation to attract younger voters. Raja concluded by saying that the Left's historical role in shaping India's democratic fabric gives him confidence that it can overcome current challenges and emerge stronger.
