Ambedkar on April 14. This significant event will be marked by a unique aerial floral tribute conducted via helicopter and the observance of a division-wide "Social Equality Week," as confirmed by an official statement released on Friday.

High-Level Review Meeting Emphasizes Coordination

Konkan divisional commissioner Rubal Agarwal presided over a crucial review meeting on Thursday, where he underscored the necessity for seamless collaboration among various authorities. With lakhs of followers anticipated to converge at Chaityabhoomi in Dadar, central Mumbai, Agarwal emphasized that the police, municipal corporations, and district administrations must work in perfect tandem to maintain public order and ensure a smooth celebration.

Commissioner Agarwal issued specific instructions to prioritize public health and hygiene throughout the event. He mandated that municipal corporations take charge of arranging adequate sanitation facilities, including the provision of drinking water, temporary toilets, and accessible health services in the Chaityabhoomi area. Additionally, he called for the Railways and Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport (BEST) to coordinate effectively to facilitate the seamless transport of visitors, minimizing disruptions and enhancing accessibility.
