A major fire broke out at a cluster of scrap and fabrication shops at Bahadurpura crossroads in Hyderabad on Friday night around 11:30 pm, triggering panic in the busy locality. Fortunately, no injuries or casualties were reported.

Origin and Spread of the Fire

According to officials, the fire originated at Abdul Hai & Company (Fibre Sheets & HP Fabrication Works) and quickly spread to nearby establishments, engulfing at least three to four shops in the vicinity.

A senior fire official from the Gowliguda fire station stated, "It was a serious fire accident, as large quantities of plastic and fibre materials were involved. The presence of highly combustible materials such as scrap, furniture, raw materials, iron parts, plastic items, fibre sheets and plywood intensified the blaze and made firefighting operations challenging.
