Chandigarh: In a significant political boost for the Bharatiya Janata Party in Haryana, more than three dozen sarpanches from Jhajjar district joined the party on Wednesday. The induction took place in the presence of Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini and BJP National Secretary Om Prakash Dhankhar during a massive public gathering at Munimpur village.

Development Projects Announced

During the event, Chief Minister Saini also announced development projects worth several hundred crores for the region. Welcoming the new entrants, he stated that the BJP gives utmost respect to its workers and that youths across the country are increasingly embracing the party's ideology.

Attack on Congress

Addressing the gathering, Dhankhar launched a sharp attack on the Congress, claiming that people of the region had become disillusioned with the "father-son" leadership. He asserted that the growing support for the BJP would continue and expressed confidence that the party would win all Assembly seats in Jhajjar district in the 2029 elections.
