NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi declared himself a dedicated "party worker" of the Bharatiya Janata Party during a significant gathering. He made this statement while inaugurating Nitin Nabin as the BJP's youngest-ever national president. "When it is about the party, Nitin Nabin is my boss," PM Modi emphasized, showcasing his commitment to the party's hierarchy.
A Historic Appointment
Nitin Nabin, aged 45 and hailing from Bihar, officially assumed the role of BJP president. He succeeded Jagat Prakash Nadda in this prestigious position. The swearing-in ceremony took place at the BJP headquarters, witnessed by prominent leaders including Prime Minister Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, outgoing president JP Nadda, and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh.

Speaking to the assembled crowd, PM Modi extended heartfelt congratulations to Nitin Nabin on behalf of millions of BJP workers across the nation. He proudly described the BJP as the world's largest political party, underscoring its global significance.

The Prime Minister specifically pointed out the new party chief's relatively young age. He stated that Nitin Nabin would carry forward the BJP's enduring legacy. "To put it in the language of today's youth, Nitin ji himself is, in a way, a millennial," PM Modi remarked.
He elaborated further on this point. "The next 25 years are very important. This is the period when a developed India is to be built, and it is destined to happen. At the beginning of this crucial period, our Nitin Nabin ji will carry forward the legacy of the BJP."
PM Modi noted that Nitin Nabin belongs to a generation that has witnessed major economic, social, and technological transformations in India. "He belongs to the generation that received information from the radio in their childhood and is now an active user of AI," the Prime Minister observed.
He praised Nitin Nabin for possessing both youthful energy and extensive experience in organisational work. "This combination will be very beneficial for every worker of our party," PM Modi confidently asserted.
