PM Modi Reiterates Crackdown on Illegal Immigrants, Slams Vote Bank Politics
PM Modi: Illegal Immigrants Threaten Security, Must Be Deported

Prime Minister Narendra Modi delivered a strong message on Tuesday, reinforcing his government's commitment to detecting and deporting illegal immigrants from India. Speaking at the BJP headquarters in New Delhi, he highlighted the security risks posed by such individuals and called for decisive action.

Security Threat from Illegal Immigrants

PM Modi stated that illegal immigrants represent a significant threat to national security. He emphasized that identifying them and sending them back to their home countries is absolutely essential. "No country in the world accepts illegal immigrants," he said. "India, too, cannot allow illegal immigrants to steal the rights of our poor and our youth."

Criticism of Political Parties

Without naming specific parties, PM Modi strongly criticized political groups that protect or cover up for illegal immigrants for the sake of vote bank politics. This appears to be a direct attack on the Trinamool Congress, which governs West Bengal, a state facing upcoming elections. He urged the public to expose such parties, saying, "We must expose them to the public."

He pointed out that even the wealthiest and most powerful countries investigate and deport illegal immigrants without facing international criticism. "The world doesn't question them, asking why they are deporting these individuals," he added, challenging the hypocrisy often seen in global discourse.

Urban Naxalism as a Major Challenge

Shifting focus, PM Modi identified "urban Naxalism" as another major challenge, noting its scope has become international. He accused urban Naxals of isolating the BJP and treating the party like untouchables across the country. "They are continuously working to harm India," he asserted.

He described their methods, including how they silence those who speak positively about him or his government through humiliation and social ostracism. "This is the method of urban Naxalism," he said, warning that the country is now becoming aware of their actions.

The address followed the new BJP chief Nitin Nabin taking charge, with PM Modi rallying party workers around these key issues. His comments underscore the government's hardline stance on immigration and internal security, setting the tone for upcoming political battles.
