Prime Minister Narendra Modi, addressing the NDA Conclave in Delhi on the 12th anniversary of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government, reiterated his vision of a 'Viksit Bharat' (Developed India) and highlighted the significance of political stability for the nation's progress.
Speaking at the conclave, Modi stated that the people of India have understood the importance of political stability, which has been a cornerstone of the NDA's governance. He credited the alliance's success to its focus on development and good governance, which have resonated with the electorate.
Modi also emphasized that a major achievement of the 12 years of NDA rule was freeing the country from the Congress party's 'vicious trap'. He accused the previous Congress-led governments of creating a system that hindered progress and promoted corruption, whereas the NDA has worked to dismantle such structures.
The Prime Minister's remarks come at a time when the NDA is celebrating its 12th year in power, having first come to office in 2014. The conclave served as a platform to showcase the alliance's achievements and outline its vision for the future.
Modi's address reaffirmed the government's commitment to transforming India into a developed nation by 2047, the centenary of independence. He called upon all NDA partners to work collectively towards this goal, ensuring inclusive growth and prosperity for all citizens.
