Bittu Criticizes Film 'Satluj' for Stoking Divisions

Bittu also addressed the controversy surrounding the film 'Satluj', starring singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh. He asserted that such films must not be allowed to stoke divisions in the state. "People should see what its makers were trying to do," Bittu said. He warned that as long as people like him were around, Dosanjh would not be allowed to "sully the atmosphere" of Punjab.

Bittu claimed that Dosanjh's money was involved in the film, which he described as propaganda. However, he clarified that the central government had no role in getting the film banned.

Bittu Comments on Congress Infighting

Turning to state politics, Bittu praised former Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi for "standing his ground" amid internal conflicts within the Congress party. He expressed amusement at the infighting among Congress leaders. "We're pleased to see what Channi saheb is doing. The Congress is doing exactly what was expected of it. It won't be able to do anything for the state. None of its leaders and MLAs want to stand with Warring today," Bittu remarked.

Responding to rumors of Channi joining another party, Bittu stated, "Channi will stay in the Congress, but the tussle in the party will continue."
