Ahmedabad: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday witnessed an Indian Air Force flypast by the Suryakiran Aerobatic Team during the Somnath Amrut Mahotsav celebrations at Somnath temple in Gujarat.
According to a press release issued by the Prime Minister's Office, the flypast was organised on the occasion of the Somnath Amrut Mahotsav and featured formations by the IAF team over the temple premises.
According to the release, Modi said the event reflected a confluence of pride and valour and added that the display spread the aura of saffron and the tricolour over the temple.
In a post on X quoted in the release, Modi said, "In Somnath today, the skies witnessed a magnificent confluence of pride and valour. The Indian Air Force's Suryakiran Team showcased a breathtaking flypast. This spirit of Bhakti and Shakti filled every heart with deep joy."
The PMO stated that the PM described the event as a combination of devotion and strength and said it made Indians proud.
