Union Minister for Railways Ashwini Vaishnaw announced that Indian Railways has achieved an impressive 98 percent utilisation of its budgetary allocation for the fiscal year 2025-26. Vaishnaw emphasised that these developments will drastically cut travel times on several busy corridors, making trains far more attractive than air travel.
