RPF Constables Help Woman Deliver Twins on Platform

Prayagraj: In a heartwarming incident at Subedarganj railway station in Prayagraj, two women constables of the Railway Protection Force (RPF) helped a woman safely deliver twins on platform number 6 on Sunday.

Emergency Situation Unfolds

Jyoti Kumari, 25, a resident of Korona in Bhadohi, was travelling on the Patna special train when she suddenly experienced labour pains, creating an emergency situation. A co-passenger promptly alerted the RPF staff on duty, who rushed to assist.

Quick Response by RPF Constables

RPF constables Suman Yadav and Priyanka, along with other women staff, reached platform number 6 and called an ambulance. Seeing the woman's critical condition, the two constables took charge and, with the help of other women staff at the station, managed to deliver a baby boy and a baby girl successfully.

A woman nurse from the central railway hospital arrived at the scene and provided primary treatment. The mother and the newborns were later shifted to Dufferin hospital for further care.
