Saini Slams Congress, AAP for Turning 'Rangla Punjab' into 'Kangla Punjab'
Saini: Congress, AAP Policies Made Punjab 'Kangla'

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini launched a sharp critique against the Congress and the Aam Aadmi Party on Saturday. He alleged their policies have severely damaged Punjab. Saini claimed these actions transformed the once-prosperous state from "Rangla Punjab" to "Kangla Punjab."

Parties Accused of Neglecting Public Welfare

Saini addressed media personnel at Haryana Niwas in Chandigarh. He stated both parties focus solely on power and personal gains. According to him, they show no real concern for public welfare. This neglect has pushed Punjab into a deep crisis.

The Chief Minister emphasized Punjab now lags far behind in development. People across the state feel deeply worried about its future. This growing concern is making residents rethink their political choices.

Modi Leadership Seen as Only Solution

Saini asserted people believe Punjab's development is possible only under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership. He blamed the Congress for initially marginalizing the state. The AAP, he said, has worsened governance further.

"AAP has gone four steps ahead of Congress in public exploitation and corruption," Saini alleged. He accused both parties of jointly exploiting farmers for political gain. Farmers have received no benefits, only insults and defamation.

Kejriwal and Mann Face Criticism

Saini specifically targeted AAP leaders Arvind Kejriwal and Bhagwant Mann. He recalled Kejriwal blaming Punjab and Haryana farmers for Delhi's pollution while in power. Despite AAP ruling Punjab for four years, no concrete steps for farmer welfare emerged.

"One cracks jokes, the other listens. Neither has any concern for farmers," Saini remarked about Mann and Kejriwal. He contrasted this with the BJP government in Haryana. They established a proper system to address stubble burning, preventing forced crop residue burning.

Flood Response Highlights Contradictions

The Chief Minister referenced recent floods in Punjab. He said the state government made tall claims during the disaster. Mann announced compensation for poultry losses publicly, but nothing materialized on the ground.

Saini pointed out a glaring contradiction. Mann spoke about providing Rs 20,000 per acre compensation. Kejriwal later claimed in Gujarat that Rs 50,000 per acre was given in Punjab. "Who pocketed the remaining Rs 30,000?" Saini questioned, highlighting transparency issues.

Historical Blame and Political Alliances

Saini noted the Congress ruled India for 55 years yet failed farmers meaningfully. He asserted current farmer conditions stem from Congress policies. Both Congress and AAP claim to be rivals but form mutual understandings when convenient.

Responding to queries about his frequent Punjab visits, Saini called himself an ordinary party worker. He said he fulfills any responsibility the Bharatiya Janata Party assigns with full dedication. People from Punjab often meet him and fix program dates before leaving, showing growing engagement.

The Chief Minister's comments underscore rising political tensions in the region. They reflect broader debates about agricultural policies and state development ahead of key elections.
