Stalin urges DMK workers to highlight Karunanidhi's legacy

Chennai: DMK president M K Stalin on Tuesday urged party members to spread M Karunanidhi's achievements on social media on June 3, the DMK patriarch's 103rd birth anniversary.

Stalin's call to action

In a letter addressed to party workers, Stalin said the younger generation should use platforms such as X, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook and WhatsApp to disseminate videos on Karunanidhi's role in shaping 'modern Tamil Nadu'.

'Take the historic achievements of Kalaignar, the architect of modern Tamil Nadu, to all digital platforms,' Stalin said, while recalling Karunanidhi's role in framing Tamil Nadu's information technology policy. The direction comes days after Stalin said TVK had won the election through an Instagram-driven campaign.

Boosting cadre morale

To boost cadre morale, Stalin said DMK was not a movement that would collapse after a defeat. 'After losing elections, the DMK returns to the field with greater momentum like a ball rebounding off a wall,' he said.

The party president reiterated that the DMK's resilience is unmatched and that setbacks only strengthen its resolve. He encouraged workers to remain steadfast and continue their efforts in serving the people.
