Three persons were killed in two separate road accidents in Bengaluru's Yelahanka area on Tuesday, police said.
First Accident: Car-Truck Collision
In the first incident, a car collided with a truck near the Yelahanka New Town police station limits. The car driver died on the spot, while two others in the car sustained injuries and were rushed to a hospital. The truck driver has been taken into custody.
Second Accident: Motorcycle-Lorry Crash
In another incident, a motorcycle hit a lorry near the Yelahanka Air Force Station. The motorcyclist died instantly. The lorry driver fled the scene, and a search is underway.
Police Investigation
The Yelahanka traffic police have registered separate cases and are investigating both accidents. They are looking into possible causes such as overspeeding and negligence.
Authorities have urged commuters to follow traffic rules and exercise caution on the roads to prevent such tragedies. The deceased have been identified, and their families have been informed.
