Traditional Rituals Performed

Chief priest Ramachandra Adiga conducted the ritualistic 'sankalpa' on behalf of the Chief Minister. Other temple priests tied a sacred thread on his wrist as part of the customary religious rites. The visit underscores the cultural and spiritual ties between the neighboring states.

The Mookambika Temple, located in the Udupi district of Karnataka, is one of the most revered shrines in South India.
