UP CM Announces One Lakh Police Recruitments This Year

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced on Tuesday that the state government will recruit one lakh new police personnel this year. He made the announcement while handing over appointment letters to 936 newly selected Head Operators and Head Operators (Mechanical) in the Uttar Pradesh Police Telecommunication Department at a ceremony in Lucknow.

Appointment Letters Handed Over

The Chief Minister personally handed appointment letters to 10 newly selected candidates on stage. Addressing the gathering, he urged the recruits to work with integrity if they have been selected through an honest recruitment process. He emphasized that transparency and merit are the cornerstones of the current government's recruitment policy.

Police and Economic Growth

CM Yogi stated that the Uttar Pradesh Police is indirectly contributing to India's economic growth by maintaining law and order, which attracts investment and boosts business confidence. He highlighted that a safe and secure environment is essential for economic development, and the police force plays a crucial role in ensuring this.

The Chief Minister also reiterated the government's commitment to providing employment opportunities to the youth. He noted that the one lakh new recruitments will not only strengthen the police force but also create jobs for thousands of young people across the state.
