Yogi Adityanath Launches Court Complexes in 6 UP Districts

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath made a strong statement on Saturday in Varanasi. He declared that his government prioritizes judicial empowerment. He believes this focus is crucial for strengthening democracy in India.

Foundation Laid for Six Integrated Court Complexes

Yogi Adityanath spoke at a significant event. Chief Justice of India Surya Kant laid the foundation stones. These stones mark the start of integrated court complexes in six Uttar Pradesh districts.

The districts include Chandauli, Mahoba, Amethi, Shamli, Hathras, and Auraiya. The Chief Minister stressed that better infrastructure is key. It makes justice more convenient for ordinary citizens.

No Delays in Judicial Projects

Yogi Adityanath asserted his administration's commitment. He said the Uttar Pradesh government does not delay projects for the judicial system. Whenever work related to courts comes to the government, it gets completed quickly.

"We believe that, to achieve good governance, no negligence should occur in strengthening judicial facilities," stated Yogi. He added that Uttar Pradesh has already moved forward greatly in this direction.

A New Page in Judiciary History

The Chief Minister termed the foundation-laying ceremony as historic. He called it the addition of a new page in the history of the judiciary. Integrated court complexes bring various facilities under one roof.

This setup is essential to make justice easily accessible to every citizen. Yogi said this vision was inspired by Chief Justice Surya Kant. The facility will first be provided in the six mentioned districts.

Four more districts will receive similar complexes in the coming months. The government plans to expand this initiative further.

Praise for Prime Minister Narendra Modi

Yogi Adityanath praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his address. He credited the Prime Minister's vision for driving reforms since 2014. These reforms aim to create state-of-the-art infrastructure.

The goals include 'Ease of Doing Business' and 'Ease of Living'. This vision also inspired the introduction of integrated court complexes. The Chief Justice showed the path during a program in Prayagraj.

Cooperation and Approval Process

Former Chief Justice of Allahabad High Court, Justice Rajesh Bindal, provided positive cooperation. The Uttar Pradesh government then approved integrated court complexes in ten districts. These districts previously lacked their own district courts.

With designs approved and formalities completed, funds were released. The first phase covers six districts including Chandauli. The project promises comprehensive facilities.

  • Court complexes
  • Good chambers for advocates
  • Residences for judicial officers
  • Canteen services
  • Parking areas
  • Sports facilities

Dilapidated chambers will become a thing of the past. New chambers will be arranged in high-rise buildings. This upgrade aims to improve working conditions.

Future Plans and Government Support

Yogi Adityanath outlined future plans. The pilot project starts in six districts. After that, the government will provide such court complexes in every district.

"There is no shortage of money with the government," assured Yogi. He promised full cooperation from the state administration. Public representatives and advocates in Chandauli had expressed agitation earlier.

The Chief Minister called the Bar Association to Lucknow. He informed them about the approval. He urged them to contribute to judicial work. Now, this project will move forward quickly in collaboration with the High Court.

The initiative reflects a broader commitment to judicial reform. It aims to enhance access to justice across Uttar Pradesh. The government views this as a cornerstone of democratic strength.
