Youth Congress Workers Honour Shuvam Sharma with Shukrana Yatra

Punjab Youth Congress president Shuvam Sharma received a warm welcome from hundreds of party workers during a shukrana yatra in Jalandhar on Saturday, held a day after a meeting at former Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi's residence regarding the Congress's choice of state president ahead of the 2027 Assembly elections.

Shukrana Yatra Across Jalandhar

The Jalandhar Urban Youth Congress organized the shukrana yatra at four different locations across the city to welcome the newly elected state youth Congress president. Despite continuous rainfall and a delay of nearly two hours in Sharma's arrival, hundreds of youth Congress workers waited patiently to greet him.

Addressing the gathering, Sharma said, “I reached Jalandhar almost two hours behind schedule, but despite the delay and continuous rain, the youth Congress workers of Doaba patiently waited for me. I sincerely thank every worker for their love, dedication and commitment.”
