DSSSB TGT Results Protest: Aspirants Demand Declaration

New Delhi: Hundreds of aspirants on Monday held a protest outside the Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) headquarters in Karkardooma, demanding the immediate declaration of Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) examination results and a clear timeline from authorities.

Background of the Recruitment Process

The recruitment notification was issued in February 2024, and the examinations were conducted in August 2025. However, several months after the exams, the board has not announced any schedule for the release of results.

Aspirants' Grievances

“Despite repeated assurances from the department that the results would be declared soon, no concrete action has been taken. The aspirants accused the authorities of lack of transparency and communication, saying the prolonged delay has left lakhs facing uncertainty,” a candidate said.

Protesters said the delay was affecting their careers, recruitment opportunities and financial stability. Many said they had prepared for the exam for years and were unable to apply for better job opportunities because of the pending results.

No Response from Department

There was no response from the department. Aspirants demanded the immediate disclosure of all pending results, a publicised timeline for the remaining recruitment process, and a written assurance from authorities. They urged the government to intervene and resolve the issue at the earliest.

Mental Toll and Future Plans

The demonstrators said the uncertainty surrounding the recruitment was also taking a toll on the candidates and their families mentally. Several of the aspirants had travelled from different parts of Delhi and neighbouring states to join the protest. They warned that if the results were not declared soon, they would intensify the agitation and continue demonstrations outside the DSSSB office.
