A tragic incident unfolded in Bidar city's LIC Colony on Wednesday morning when a 15-year-old class 10 student died after falling from the fourth floor of a private school. The deceased, identified as Sameer, a resident of Shantinagar, had reportedly gone to school as usual when the incident occurred.
Family Alleges Harassment by School Staff
Sameer's family has alleged that his death was linked to persistent harassment by school staff. According to relatives, Sameer had been troubled daily by staff members and had informed his family about the harassment. The family had reportedly asked the staff to stop harassing him, but the alleged harassment continued unabated.
Post-Mortem Conducted Without Family Consent
Family members further alleged that Sameer's body was taken to BRIMS Hospital for post-mortem without informing them or seeking their permission. They have blamed the school administration for this lack of communication, adding to their distress.
The New Town police have registered a case and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident. Authorities are expected to examine the allegations of harassment and the procedural aspects of the post-mortem.
