A fire broke out at Vitthal Hotel near Subhash Chauraha in the Civil Lines area of Prayagraj on Monday, prompting an immediate firefighting response, officials confirmed.

Upon receiving alerts, multiple fire tenders rushed to the scene and commenced efforts to extinguish the flames. Fire Station Officer (FSO) of Civil Lines, along with a team of firefighters, worked diligently under the supervision of the Chief Fire Officer (CFO) of Prayagraj to bring the blaze under control.
A coordinated joint team comprising police personnel and the fire department successfully rescued 12 individuals who were trapped inside the hotel. The rescue operation was carried out swiftly, ensuring the safety of all occupants.
