In a shocking incident in Gurugram, a man allegedly killed his wife and four children before attempting to take his own life. The incident came to light on Tuesday morning when neighbors heard cries from the house and alerted the police.
Details of the Incident
The accused, identified as Ramesh Kumar, a 38-year-old private company employee, is believed to have committed the act late Monday night. The victims include his wife, Priya (35), and their four children—two sons aged 10 and 7, and two daughters aged 5 and 3. Police found the bodies in different rooms of the house in the Sector 56 area.
Accused Hospitalized
Ramesh was found with deep cuts on his wrists and neck and was rushed to a nearby hospital. His condition is stated to be critical but stable. Doctors said he is under observation and not yet fit for questioning.
Police Investigation Underway
Gurugram Police have registered a case under multiple sections of the Indian Penal Code, including murder and attempt to suicide. Senior police officials visited the spot and are investigating the motive behind the extreme step.
