Karnataka Minister Urges KPSC to Announce PDO Results

Bengaluru: Rural development and panchayat raj (RDPR) minister Eshwar Khandre on Wednesday wrote a letter to the Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC) urging the announcement of results for 97 panchayat development officer (PDO) posts under the Kalyana Karnataka quota and another 150 PDO posts for the rest of Karnataka. The examinations for these positions were conducted between September and November 2024.

In his letter, Khandre emphasized that the delay in recruitment is creating hindrances to the implementation of rural development programs. He urged the KPSC to announce the results immediately to avoid further setbacks.

The minister's intervention highlights the critical need for timely recruitment to ensure smooth functioning of rural governance and development initiatives across the state.
