Mangaluru: Newly elected Mangaluru Bar Association president Jagadish Shenava stated that the legal profession provides unmatched opportunities for recognition, respect, and financial success, urging law students to consider it a field with limitless potential. He made these remarks during a felicitation program organized by Alva's Law College on Saturday, honoring Shenava and newly elected Moodubidire Bar Association president Sharath Shetty.
Journey of Success
Reflecting on his own journey, Shenava recalled contesting college student elections and later participating in an all-college student union election. His election as president of the Mangaluru Bar Association marked his third major electoral victory, underscoring the importance of perseverance in the legal field.

Shenava emphasized that lawyers are not confined to courtrooms. They can excel as leaders, policymakers, and corporate professionals. Unlike many professions with a fixed retirement age, law offers opportunities for meaningful engagement throughout one's lifetime, he added.
