Medical Response and Condition

He was promptly taken to Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences (RMLIMS) with the assistance of a Dial 108 ambulance service. Doctors attending to him reported that his condition is currently stable. He is under observation, and further medical evaluation is ongoing.

Police Investigation

Police are now investigating the circumstances that led the man to take such an extreme step. They are examining the nature of his complaint and any underlying issues. On the other hand, the Station House Officer (SHO) of Gangaghat police station in Unnao, Ajay Kumar Singh, told TOI that Ram Kishor suffers from a mental disorder and is under treatment. He stated, “He has been giving frivolous complaints in different forums since last year. There is no such issue concerning him or his family.”

The police are also reviewing security protocols to prevent such incidents in the future. The public grievance system continues to function normally, but authorities have urged citizens to seek help through proper channels if they are distressed.
