Man Stabbed to Death Over Money Dispute in Delhi

New Delhi: A 22-year-old man was allegedly stabbed to death over a monetary dispute in north Delhi's West Kamal Vihar on Wednesday evening. Three minors have been apprehended in connection with the incident.

Victim Identified as Pankaj

The deceased has been identified as Pankaj, a resident of West Kamal Vihar, who worked as a waiter at wedding functions. Police said nine stab wounds were found on his body, including on the neck, chest, forehead and arms.

Background of the Incident

Pankaj's brother told the police that the victim had argued with one of the boys a few days earlier. The dispute escalated, leading to the fatal stabbing on Wednesday evening.

Apprehension of Minors

Acting on a tip-off, the three minor boys were apprehended on Thursday morning near the transport authority of Burari office, said DCP (north) Raja Banthia. The minors are being questioned to ascertain the exact sequence of events.

The police have registered a case under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code. Further investigation is underway.
