Development projects worth Rs 1.30 crore have been announced for Bugra village, aiming to boost infrastructure and quality of life for residents. The announcement was made by local authorities during a public meeting, outlining several key initiatives.
Key Projects Announced
The approved works include the construction and repair of roads, installation of a sewerage system, and drainage improvements. These projects are expected to address long-standing issues faced by the villagers, such as waterlogging and poor road conditions.
Road Construction and Repair
A significant portion of the funds, approximately Rs 50 lakh, has been allocated for road construction and repair. This will cover internal village roads as well as connecting routes, facilitating smoother transportation for residents and farmers.
Sewerage and Drainage
Another major component is the sewerage system, with Rs 40 lakh earmarked for laying pipelines and constructing treatment facilities. Additionally, Rs 30 lakh will be spent on drainage improvements to prevent water accumulation during monsoons.
The remaining funds will be used for other essential amenities, including streetlights and community centre upgrades. Officials stated that the work will be completed within the current financial year, with tenders to be issued soon.
