A four-member team from Delhi arrived in Jaipur on Friday to conduct inspections under Swachh Survekshan 2025. On the first day, the team visited the Murlipura and Jhotwara zones, inspected sanitation arrangements, and interacted with residents to gather feedback on cleanliness and civic services.
Inspection Schedule and Parameters
The team will continue inspections across various city zones over the next three days. Officials will assess visual cleanliness, door-to-door waste collection, waste segregation, maintenance of public toilets, and water management systems. This year's rankings will be based on a total of 12,500 marks.
Key Scoring Factors
Parameters such as public awareness, welfare of sanitation workers, and citizen participation will play a key role in the final score. Of the total marks, 1,000 have been earmarked for citizen feedback. Additional marks will be awarded for Garbage Free City (GFC), ODF Plus-Plus, and Water Plus certifications.
The inspections aim to improve urban sanitation and encourage greater community involvement in maintaining cleanliness across Jaipur. Residents are encouraged to participate actively in the feedback process to help their city achieve a higher ranking.
