Two Men Die in Separate Road Accidents in Bhopal Monday

Two men died in separate road accidents in the city on Monday, police said. In the first incident, a 32-year-old man was allegedly run over by a bus while returning from a wedding function in the Bilkhiria area early Monday morning.

First Accident in Bilkhiria

Bilkhiria Station House Officer (SHO) Umesh Singh Chouhan identified the deceased as Atiq Khan, 32, a resident of Barrai village in the Katara Hills area. Khan worked in a private job. The accident occurred when he was returning from a wedding function. The bus driver fled the scene after the incident. Police have registered a case and are investigating.

Second Accident in Berasia

In the second incident, a man died after a milk tanker coming from the opposite direction allegedly rammed head-on into a motorcycle carrying three people in Berasia on Monday evening. The deceased was identified as Shivnarayan Vishwakarma, 55, a resident of Shajapur district. He was also employed in a private job. The milk tanker driver fled the spot after the accident. Police have filed a case against the absconding driver.
