The deceased have been identified as Mohan Kumar (21), a resident of Kamaravadi village in Chamarajanagar district, and Ravichandra (21), from Kallahalli village in Mysuru taluk. The incident took place in the afternoon when the duo, along with friends, had visited the riverbank for recreation.
