At least ten passengers sustained minor injuries when a Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (RTC) bus collided with a container lorry near Kulcharam in Medak district on Tuesday afternoon. The incident occurred at approximately 2:30 pm when the bus, carrying 18 passengers, was en route from Hyderabad to Bodhan.
Details of the Incident
According to Kulcharam Sub-Inspector Ahmed Moinuddin, the bus was allegedly driven in a rash and negligent manner and hit the lorry from behind. Ten individuals, including the lorry driver, sustained minor injuries. They were promptly taken to the Medak government hospital for treatment and were discharged later in the evening.
Legal Action
A case has been registered against the RTC driver, identified as Sambashivrao, under charges of rash and negligent driving. The police have initiated a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding the accident.
