BJP MLA Ketan Inamdar Skips Meeting, Criticizes Vadodara Administration
BJP MLA Skips Meeting, Slams Vadodara Administration

BJP MLA Ketan Inamdar from Savli has taken a strong stand against the Vadodara district administration. He refused to attend a crucial coordination meeting on Saturday. This move highlights his ongoing frustration with how officials operate in the region.

MLAs Voice Displeasure in Letter

Inamdar is not alone in his criticism. He and four other BJP MLAs from Vadodara district expressed their displeasure earlier. They sent a letter on January 8, 2024. The letter accused the administration of presenting a rosy picture that does not match the ground reality. The MLAs hinted that works suggested by elected representatives were being ignored.

Meeting Seen as Mere Formality

Inamdar skipped the Saturday meeting and spoke to mediapersons in Savli. He stated the meeting seemed like a mere formality. He explained that issues he raised in previous meetings were not addressed. "If the meeting is just a formality, I do not want to be part of it," Inamdar said firmly.

He clarified that he did not discuss his absence with other MLAs beforehand. He only spoke about it when questioned by the media. This shows his decision was personal and based on principle.

Other MLAbsent from Meeting

Of the five BJP MLAs who signed the letter, two others were also missing. Chaitanyasinh Zala from Padra and Akshay Patel from Karjan did not attend. Sources indicated they had other engagements. However, their absence adds to the narrative of discontent among elected representatives.

The situation underscores a growing rift between MLAs and officials in Vadodara. It raises questions about effective governance and coordination in the district.
