A new book chronicling the developmental journey of Uttar Pradesh under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was officially unveiled in the state capital on Tuesday. Titled 'Gatiman Uttar Pradesh: Yogi Sarkar Ke Bemisal 8 Saal', the publication aims to present a comprehensive account of the state's transformation over the past eight years.
Leaders Hail State's Transformation Under 'Saint-King' Leadership
The launch event saw Uttar Pradesh Assembly Speaker Satish Mahana as the chief guest. In his address, Mahana drew a parallel between the current governance and historical ideals, stating that while history has seen saints become kings, UP is now witnessing the benefits of a 'saint-king' in the form of Yogi Adityanath. He credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Chief Minister for working relentlessly to realize the nation's post-Independence vision.
"UP's history and glory have received a new identity, which every citizen of the state can be proud of," Mahana asserted. He described the Chief Minister as a unique blend of compassion, culture, and strong values, which he said has directly translated into progress across all sectors.
Praise for Multi-Sectoral Development and Social Empowerment
Mahana emphasized that Uttar Pradesh has emerged as a benchmark state in several critical areas. Investment, job creation, industrial expansion, and social justice were highlighted as key domains where the state has set a new model for others to follow.
Echoing these sentiments, the special guest at the event, Baby Rani Maurya, Minister for Women Welfare, Child Development, and Nutrition, focused on the government's social initiatives. She stated that the Yogi Adityanath administration has implemented concrete policies and schemes specifically designed for women, children, farmers, youth, and marginalized communities, leading to strengthened social empowerment.
"The unprecedented progress made by the state in the last eight years was unimaginable before 2017," Maurya noted, adding that investment and industrial development have gained a new direction and momentum under the current regime.
