Tragic Accident Claims Life of Young Farmer in Chittoor District
A devastating incident occurred in the Penumuru mandal of Chittoor district, where a 27-year-old man lost his life after accidentally falling into a well along with his motorcycle. The victim, identified as Sekhar, was a resident of Chinna Kalikiri village.
Details of the Fatal Mishap
Sekhar had gone to water his farmland located near the Neeva river. While returning home, he was traveling on a narrow pathway when his bike skidded, causing him to plunge into a nearby well. The fall resulted in severe head injuries, and tragically, he died before any rescue efforts could save him.
Discovery and Response by Authorities
Local farmers who were in the area spotted Sekhar inside the well and immediately alerted the police. Upon receiving the information, law enforcement officials rushed to the scene. They assisted in retrieving Sekhar's body from the well.
The Penumuru police have registered a case regarding this unfortunate incident. The body of the deceased was subsequently shifted to the government general hospital in Chittoor for a postmortem examination to determine the exact cause of death.
