Motive and Evasion

Tripathi said that Ramtaram hired a shooter to kill Eenani due to a long-standing property dispute spanning nearly 30 years. To evade arrest, Ramtaram remained absconding across several states, including Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Madhya Pradesh. For his arrest, the Udaipur Range Inspector General announced a reward amount, which was increased from Rs 10,000 to Rs 25,000 and later to Rs 50,000.

Previous Arrests

Earlier in the case, police arrested the main shooter, Manish Kumar Dubey (37), on November 12; Bhajnaram Guru (37) on January 8; and Arvind Dubey on March 16, for supplying the weapon. Police said further investigation is underway, including tracing those who may have assisted Ramtaram during his absconding period.
