CJP's Abhijeet Dipke slams 'communal politics' in Bengaluru protest
Abhijeet Dipke, a prominent leader of the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), strongly criticized what he termed 'communal politics' during a protest held in Bengaluru. The demonstration took place on June 14, 2026, and drew attention to the divisive political strategies that Dipke claims are harming social harmony.
The Bengaluru protest is part of a series of similar demonstrations organized by the CJP across major Indian cities. Earlier protests have been held in Delhi, Pune, Amritsar, and Hyderabad, indicating a coordinated effort by the party to raise awareness about the issue.
Speaking to the gathered crowd, Dipke emphasized the need for unity and secular values. He accused certain political groups of exploiting religious and communal sentiments for electoral gains, which he argued undermines the fabric of the nation. 'We must stand together against any form of communal politics that seeks to divide us,' Dipke stated.
The protest in Bengaluru saw participation from CJP supporters and local activists who carried placards and chanted slogans against communal polarization. The event remained peaceful, with organizers ensuring adherence to local regulations.
This movement by the CJP highlights growing concerns among certain political circles about the rise of identity-based politics in India. The party has vowed to continue its protests until there is a significant change in the political discourse.
