In a strategic move to harness the potential of its global community, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma has issued a special invitation to bureaucrats and officers of Rajasthani origin serving across India. The appeal was made to encourage their active participation in the upcoming Pravasi Rajasthani Diwas, scheduled for December 10.
Video Conference Appeal for State's Development
Addressing a virtual meeting from his official residence in Jaipur, CM Sharma connected with officers posted in various states. He positioned these officials as "a strong bridge" connecting the state government with the vast community of overseas Rajasthanis. The Chief Minister emphasized that their experience, networks, and suggestions are invaluable assets for Rajasthan's progress.
Sharma specifically urged the officers to motivate Non-Resident Rajasthanis, entrepreneurs, and investors to explore opportunities and invest in their home state. He stressed that these officers have a pivotal role in transforming Rajasthan into a thriving investment hub.
Government Initiatives for the Diaspora
Outlining his administration's commitment, the Chief Minister revealed that a dedicated Pravasi Rajasthani department has been established. This specialized wing is tasked with prioritizing the interests and works related to the Rajasthani diaspora, ensuring a structured approach to connect them with their roots.
"Our government is continuously working to connect overseas Rajasthanis with their motherland," affirmed CM Bhajan Lal Sharma during the interaction.
