Congress Leader Accuses Kerala Chief Minister of Secret RSS Pact for Case Settlement
AICC general secretary K C Venugopal launched a fresh attack on Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Thursday, accusing him of compromising with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) to settle cases registered against him. Speaking at a women's convention in Azhikode, Kannur, as part of the United Democratic Front's (UDF) election campaign, Venugopal alleged that Vijayan has transformed into a 'compromising' chief minister, undermining the integrity of his position.
Allegations of Secret Relationship and Internal Unrest
Venugopal claimed there is a clandestine relationship between Pinarayi Vijayan and the Sangh Parivar, which has caused significant unrest within the Communist Party of India (Marxist). He asserted that this secret link with the RSS has even influenced candidate selection processes, leading to internal discord. The Congress leader predicted that more party members would soon quit the CPM as a result of these covert dealings, signaling a potential crisis within the ruling party.
