Congress Directs Kuldeep Singh Vaid to Lead Counter-Offensive
The party has directed Kuldeep Singh Vaid, chairman of the SC department of the Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee, to organize press conferences in various districts. This initiative aims to address what the Congress describes as a false and misleading campaign by the AAP, which seeks to portray the Congress as anti-Scheduled Caste and tarnish its public image.
In a formal letter to Vaid, Capt Sandeep Singh Sandhu, general secretary-in-charge (organisation), outlined the directive. The letter stated that, as desired by Bhupesh Baghel, general secretary-in-charge, and per the directions of the PCC president, district heads of the department should be instructed to hold press conferences immediately in their respective districts. The focus is on the recent action of the SC Commission in summoning Bajwa, the Congress Legislative Party leader.
