According to an official statement released by the district administration, a comprehensive team of observers has been deployed to oversee the electoral process and ensure compliance with regulations.

The district administration has appointed a total of four general observers, four expenditure observers, and one police observer across various constituencies. This strategic deployment aims to enhance transparency and accountability during the election period.

  • Ashish Joshi has been appointed as the general observer for the Varkala, Attingal, Chirayinkeezhu, and Kazhakkoottam constituencies. He will conduct daily public hearings from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Varkala block panchayat office hall. His office is operational from the Varkala guest house.
  • Patil Yalagouda Shivana Gouda has taken charge as the general observer for the Nedumangad, Vamanapuram, and Aruvikkara constituencies. Office facilities have been arranged in Room No. 303 of the Thycaud guest house.
  • Gopal Meena has been designated as the general observer for the Parassala, Kattakkada, and Neyyattinkara constituencies.
  • Yogesh Kumar IAS will oversee the Vattiyoorkavu, Thiruvananthapuram, Nemom, and Kovalam constituencies. Both Gopal Meena and Yogesh Kumar are operating from the Thycaud guest house.

  1. Umesh Kumar has been assigned to monitor election expenditure in the Nedumangad, Vamanapuram, and Aruvikkara constituencies.
  2. K Veeramani will oversee expenditure in the Kazhakkoottam, Vattiyoorkavu, Thiruvananthapuram, and Nemom constituencies.
  3. Pramod A Nikhale has been appointed as the expenditure observer for the Varkala, Attingal, and Chirayinkeezhu constituencies.
