Former Rajya Sabha MP Debashish Samantaray joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday, just days after quitting the Biju Janata Dal (BJD). The move is seen as a significant boost for the BJP in Odisha ahead of the upcoming elections.
