In a significant move highlighting alleged injustice towards industrial workers, former Rajasthan minister Pratap Singh Khachariyawas has declared a major protest action in Jaipur. He announced plans to lead a march from his residence to the contentious Jaipur Metal Factory located on Station Road.

The march is scheduled to commence at 11 am this Wednesday. Khachariyawas stated that the primary goal is to demand both justice and financial compensation for the workers of the factory, whom he claims have been abandoned by the authorities. Upon reaching the factory site, the former minister plans to stage a 30-minute sit-in demonstration to amplify the workers' plight.
Allegations of Government-Corporate Collusion
Launching a fierce attack on the state government, Khachariyawas accused it of "cheating" the labourers. He alleged a deep-seated collusion between the state administration and the private company operating the factory. "The state took huge money and left the workers to die by ignoring their plight," he claimed on Saturday, painting a picture of grave corruption.
He set a clear financial demand, calling for compensation of Rs 15 lakh for each affected worker. Issuing a stern warning, Khachariyawas said he is prepared to escalate the matter to the highest judicial authority. "I will approach the Supreme Court in support of the workers," he affirmed.
