Panaji: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Saturday attended the swearing-in ceremony of West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari, marking the first time the Bharatiya Janata Party formed a government in the state. Sawant extended his congratulations and wished Adhikari a successful tenure in serving the people of Bengal.
A New Dawn for Bengal
Sawant stated that this event signifies the beginning of a new era and a new dawn for Bengal. He expressed confidence that under Adhikari's leadership, and with the guidance and support of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the double-engine government will ensure inclusive and all-round development across the state.
Vision for Development
The Chief Minister emphasized that Bengal will witness new opportunities, stronger governance, infrastructure growth, and empowerment of the marginalized. He noted that progress will be guided by the vision of antyodaya, ensuring benefits reach the poorest of the poor.
