Haryana BJP Appoints Ministers as Election In-Charges for Upcoming Civic Polls
Haryana BJP Names Ministers as Civic Poll Election In-Charges

The Haryana unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party has taken a significant step in its preparation for the upcoming urban local body elections. A day after the reservation of top posts in civic bodies, the party on Friday announced the appointment of ministers and senior BJP leaders as election in-charges for the civic polls.

Comprehensive Election Management Structure

This strategic move comes as the government is poised to conduct civic polls across seven municipal bodies, which notably include three municipal corporations. The appointments establish a clear hierarchy of responsibility for overseeing the election process in these crucial urban constituencies.

Key Appointments for Municipal Corporations

Urban Local Bodies Minister Vipul Goel has been designated as the in-charge for the overall coordination of these elections. For the specific municipal corporations, Ranbir Gangwa has been named as the in-charge for Ambala Municipal Corporation, while Krishan Lal Pawar will oversee the Sonipat Municipal Corporation elections.

These appointments are further strengthened by the assignment of supporting leaders. Minister Goel will be accompanied by former minister Kanwar Pal Gurjar in his duties. Similarly, Gangwa will work alongside Archana Gupta, and Pawar will collaborate with Jawhar Saini for their respective municipal corporation responsibilities.

Municipal Councils and Committees Coverage

The BJP has also established a comprehensive structure for the municipal councils and committees participating in these elections. Minister Gaurav Gautam has been appointed as the in-charge for Rewari Municipal Council.

For the municipal committee polls, the party has assigned three ministers to key positions:

  • Minister Krishan Bedi as in-charge for Uklana
  • Minister Arvind Sharma as in-charge for Sampla
  • Minister Rajesh Nagar as in-charge for Dharuhera

According to available information, these four ministers overseeing municipal councils and committees will be supported by senior BJP leaders who will serve as co-observers throughout the entire election process. This dual-layer oversight mechanism aims to ensure smooth conduct and monitoring of the civic polls across all participating urban local bodies.

The systematic allocation of responsibilities reflects the BJP's organized approach to these important local elections, which will determine leadership in significant urban centers across Haryana. The involvement of sitting ministers underscores the party's commitment to securing favorable outcomes in these civic polls.
