The blaze posed a direct threat to nearby labourer quarters, with several labourers seen dragging their belongings from their homes as the fire approached their dwellings.
Fire Sub-Inspector Shivnarayan Sharma confirmed that while the Narwal warehouse was locked at the time of the incident, the exact cause of that fire also remains unclear. With two significant fires occurring within 24 hours in different parts of Indore, concerns about fire safety protocols have been heightened across the city.
